Biography: Jodhi May is an English actress who began her career as a child actress. She made history as the youngest recipient of the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her performance in "A World Apart" (1988) at the age of 12, which she shared with co-stars Barbara Hershey and Linda Mvusi.
Born in Camden Town, London, England, and educated at Camden School for Girls, May's early life and education laid the foundation for her acting career. Despite her early success, she pursued higher education, studying English at Wadham College, Oxford.
